My name is Berna Guney and I am a Registered Nurse currently employed at a rehabilitation/nursing center. I’ve always had a passion for helping people and this career choice is what suits me best. I get to do what I love, using my medical skills and people skills to positively impact others.
Did I always know that I wanted to be nurse? I did not. I didn’t ever really know what I wanted to be, but I knew the things that I have always naturally gravitated towards, studying hard for exams, helping my neighbors, teaching my siblings what’s right and what’s wrong, and solving problems for my parents whose been trying to adapt to a country they have emigrated to. When I joined the Nursing Program, I saw a future of self gratification. Because Nursing means that I get to be continue learning about the latest advancements, help my patients decide on the best treatment for them, and transform the way they view the healing process.
