Reading Response “The Secret”

The reading “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne I would describe as inspirational, education, motivational and more. In beginning the author tells the readers the use of the word “you”is meant for the audience to have a personal connection with the reading.  According the reading the secret is law of attraction because you meaning the audience are the ones that put the law into effect. The law of attraction is supposed to be your own thoughts ,this is why I described the book inspirational. In the reading there are what the author calls teachers that explains the law of attraction in their own opinions and their one version of the secret. In the secret, the author talks about you controlling  your own thoughts and how you can redirect those thoughts to whatever deems fit for to you. The book is not only about your thoughts is also about manifesting the knowledge you know now and rebuilding it to help improve yourself, which collides with what we are learning about self-help.
