My name is Brent Regis and it is a pleasure to meet you all. I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering Technology as of right now. I’m also not employed but I am currently looking for a job. This summer was very eventful as a lot of my friends were moving to different states for college. We tried to cram as many events as we possibly could into the 2 months we had. Safe to say I’m exhausted so I’m glad to have gotten an asynchronous class so I can relax at home a bit. My hobbies are reading, gaming, and learning anything about technology. Its cool to see how far we have come. I excited to learn alongside you all this semester.

I complete understand how you feel with all your friends moving away for college. It can be quite bittersweet to say goodbye for such a long period of time.
hey Brent, i agree that technology has change so much over the past few years, I recently brought a new laptop for college and I can see the difference with my old one. There is so much technology and they continue to come out with new tech of stuff we may use everyday like our phones and laptops etc… tech impacts our lives in many ways.
Thanks Brent for sharing a bit about yourself, and welcome to the course. As Jasper said, it is definitely a difficult transition to have friends move away — hopefully you will find a great community here at City Tech (and in this course too!).
