  1. Learn to do your own laundry speaks volumes. Once you master something that provides self-sufficiency you will be more apt to do another thing for yourself. For our clients, when we design a treatment plan with them we put long term goals (To be self-sufficient) but we work on short term goals/baby steps (Learn how to sort clothes; learn what to buy to do laundry; learn how water temperatures vary as well as different cycles; know how to use washing and drying machines properly). In this way the client has a detailed plan. Each has the potential to be a success if the short goal is doable. From this comes a sense of well-being about their potential. Thanks for your simple, yet profound commandment for life!
