1- Well! To be honest, I really loved this essay, the techniques, advice, tips, etc…, along with all the context provided. I personally think that it’s very helpful for students that are trying to get better at writing and which steps to follow in order to get there.

2- The ones that I liked the most were how to ask yourself questions while you’re reading, as well as marking up the important choices or techniques you wish to try on your own.

3- I consider that when you see a sentence that you wish you could make one on your own, first you see how it was made and constructed. Then, you get yourself to try to put together a text with a similar structure. For instance, I personally love to write, whenever I’m sad, whenever I’m happy, I just let my thoughts fly. I’ve noticed that my sister loves to see my writing at some point and before she submits an assignment she comes up to me for checking and suggestions. She sees carefully how my examples are constructed and applies them to her own writing.

4- Mike’s purpose in writing this piece is to allow students to realize the importance and advantages of reading like a writer. He took a huge effort on designing this essay for student’s personal growth and tips. His intended audience will be college students.

    5- It’s an essay gender.

6- I noticed that this was well constructed in terms of the author’s background, important information, besides, how this particular event led the author to find out important information about reading like a writer.

1- I really like the piece because it has enough details, which is really helpful for me to have a better understanding. In my opinion, I think I would have been a better reader if I knew these little details before. Now I have the opportunity to be a better reader. Love it!

By saying that the author wanted us to have the ability and the capacity to build our own text. For instance, being an architect means that you can just look at other architects’s work and make a similar one. In this case the author tried to tell us that the best way to RLW is by reading other authors’s article and try to understand the feelings not what the text means but the atmosphere of it.
