Technical Writing Challenge

Now that you have an idea of who your audience is, it is time to really start on the Challenge. As a group (you can start this is smaller groups), decide just what you need to inform your audience of. Is it just coronavirus? Or should there be questions of justice involved? What about future viruses? Should people be prepared and, if so, just how? What are the best means of informing your audience?

Work in small groups but keep the entire class informed of what you are doing.

And, if you have not, make sure that everyone is keeping an adequate log/journal. The best way to do this is through a spreadsheet that all agree to use. Discuss that as well.

  1. Hello Class,

If you don’t mind emailing me at cjbello1694@gmail.com so I can start a thread with all of us. This way we can start to collaborate on defining our final audience through a google doc or something similar. Just let me know you’re from the class in your email and let’s try and get this sorted by Wednesday so we can start to actually work on this by eow.

    Thanks

  2. Hello Class,
As a group, we all agreed to do justice in America. We would like to inform our audience more about violence and racial discrimination. For the challenge, some specific questions will be covered that include: Why is it three or four times more so for the black community as opposed to other people? Why does the black community get less access to health care & government benefits? And why does the black community get less informed regarding any issues? We will also discuss police brutality and government laws. The best means of informing it is that here in America people shouldn’t do any injustice to them who are colored.
