When I envisioned this course, the novel coronavirus pandemic was the major story in the United States, if not the world. Now, just as we are beginning, there is another gigantic issue hovering over all of us in the United States: Can we have justice for all?
That leads me to a choice for you, one that will have to be made as soon as possible: Do you want to continue the challenge with a focus on coronavirus or would you rather change the challenge to one examining justice is America? That would mean that the website and documents you create would focus on helping people understand the situations they are facing today.
The choice is yours–as a group. Please use the comment here to discuss this, but the discussion needs to be complete by the end of this week.
For the task Justice in America, we would like to work on the challenge with a focus on justice in America.

As a group, we all agreed to do justice in America. We would like to inform the class more about violence and racial discrimination. For the challenge, some specific questions will be covered that include: Why is it three or four times more so for the black community as opposed to other people? Why does the black community get less access to health care & government benefits? And why does the black community get less informed regarding any issues? We will also discuss police brutality and government laws. The best means of informing it is that here in America people shouldn’t do any injustice to them who are colored.
