Ethics entry 1

1a.

My experience is related to what I learned from the Ethic article by AIGA. My boss has an agreement with the photographer she works with. The photographer has ownership of the product shot and I’m not sure whose ethically right or wrong. It feels like a gray line because the product in the photos is her’s but he has rights to the pictures themselves. The subjects to be photographed were very clear with the projects she assigned to the photographer. She wanted pictures of her products in the frame. I think reading the article I learned a lot about the unspoken behind-the-scenes events that I wasn’t a witness to before. I’m just in attendance for the process not specifically for the behind-the-scenes negotiation.

The details I did not consider were should the images be in black and white or in color.  Also, is there a specific quantity of images to be delivered? I thought the rule of thumb for most photographers is to capture as many images for the client to look through. I didn’t consider that not giving a set number can be more time-consuming for both parties because you can go on for a long period of time and not good time management of the different angles and perspectives that should be delivered. negative. Through the reading, I can agree with there should be consequences for making sure everyone is being respectful like availability and punctuality. I did not have to sign a confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement for this internship site
