This is a quote that can hit close for many. Sometimes friends don’t remain as they are. The same goes for enemies. Enemies are expected to harm you. When friends harm you, it hurts more because you never expect it.
The love of power overcomes the power of love too often in our world. Ultimately, when love overcomes power, things will be much better and the world will see a new level of peace.
I think this is one that hits deep because it is very applicable today as it was decades ago. Why don’t we have enough money to help those in need but there is enough money when a war is on the horizon.
This one sticks with me. What it is trying to say is that people will either, knowingly or not, guilt trip you when you no longer side with them. This is a common form of manipulation that can make the other person feel bad about themselves and give in to the other person.
