Homework # 3

I think that Robert Capa’s photograph of “Death of a Loyalist Soldier” seems too good to be true to be taken during the time of the Spanish war. I don’t think Robert Capa would be able to capture the soldier so quickly as the soldier got shot. This photograph looks staged to me.  If it was captured during the war, how come the shooter or any other individual be seen in sight at all? That seems really off to me. It just looks like Robert Capa found an individual to pose and act like he got shot and staged the background.

I think you bring up great points, the one question that has wondering is why isn’t their anyone else in sight. Out of all area the one guy seen in the pictures happens to get hit and the photographer didn’t… makes me wonder. Either way Capa was trying to get a message across to the people, and he did successfully.
