It is dangerous for women photographers, soldiers, journalist to work in war zone. It is war, so everyone there is in danger and at the risk of losing their life. Gender does not matter when you are serving the country. Whether it is male or female, they both are serving their country and that is the fact. Yes, women may not be able to do everything men can do, but women can still be of help. Like it was said in the interview, men cannot interact with Afghan women because of their tradition. Some times female can see things different from a male, and it may benefit for the group. Since decisions are made as a group, having more then one view is always beneficial.
