Early Photography and Film

Watching the film from this weeks post, I saw multiple similarities between photography and film.  From this past weeks lecture, we uncovered what gave the movement to the film.  Essentially it was a storyboard with multiple photos on it.  Essentially if you combined all the photos together and flipped them or spread them apart in a rapid motion, you would get a motion picture.  So essentially early film was this way.  But you could tell that many of these films shared similarities with photos.  The whole objective of photographs to make an art form has been incorporated into film.  This was an art form, it was something that impressed upon people, in which it was pretty much never seen before.
