Scavenger Hunt Assignment Deadline and Clarifications

Please read this in its entirety and email me should there be any questions. (prof.paul.king@Gmail.com)

Due as a graded assignment for next class – (Tuesday September 10th) Scavenger Hunt – three studies.  Please create one sheet 22 x 34 for each.  You are to plot print as follows:

  • Your best sheet – plotted full size at 22 x 34
  • Your two other sheets – plotted 50% on 11 x 17

Remember that grading will be based on meeting all terms of the deadline and the completeness of the work.  All sheets and all images should include either notes/dimensions or both as is appropriate.  Scales will typically be 1/2″ for the first level of detail and then 3/4″, 1 1/2″ or 3″ to the foot for enlarged details.  Consider my comments in today’s review when completing your work.

Always keep in mind the importance of 4 coordinated drawings – plan, 2 elevations (or 1 elev/1 section) and an isometric – at matching scales.  This may be for the first set of images as well as for the enlarged details.

This assignment must be uploaded to blackboard – by noon on Tuesday the Sept 10th.  The assignment must be handed in on time – meaning uploaded to blackboard and printed before class.  Assignments not printed and pinned up before class are considered late and will be downgraded.

For Blackboard – you must upload two files as follows:

  • Your Revit File
  • One PDF file containing three sheets
  • Both to be properly named as follows:   Scavenger1-FirstName-LastName-ProfKing

Please be on time.
