Alter Ego; a person’s secondary or alternative personality.
In this photoshoot, I had the opportunity to collaborate with my cousin. She came to me with the idea of doing a “sexy” photoshoot. This was the first time I’ve ever done something like this. I wore many hats; I scouted the location, and I was the makeup artist, stylist, director, photographer, and Creative Director. I used my Kodak SLR camera and a light panel with adjustable/temp settings. We moved to different locations on the roof to help elevate the piece of lingerie she was wearing.
If I could do this again, I would move my subject so she is not in front of the sun as that causes glares. I do like the “halo” effect in some of the photos. What I enjoyed the most; was being able to witness a person transcend in front of the camera. There was a lot of communication involved to make sure my subject was comfortable. My favorite photos are the ones with the green chair; the color of the chair pops compliments the red lingerie piece the subject is wearing.
