Your patterns are really nice. I like the Staccato likes. How sharp they are. Then how your legato lines are curly and flowing.
Good use of lines and patterns for your mash up. I can see the use of the bold lines as staccato and the the wavy/ curve lines as legato. I really like your last image (another pattern mash up sketch). I hope you used that as your final piece.
