  1. When I first started playing the game my first reaction was that this is not going to be interesting or have any sort of relevance. As I continued to play my jaw dropped and I was completely shocked that it had to do with such a serious life situation that can happen to anyone. I did not expect that at all!! I will leave off with saying I was completely wrong with thinking the way I did.

  2. I actually like the role play in this game. I did not learn much as I have a relative that has HIV. But I did learn that you do not have to have insurance to get tested for HIV.

  3. The game was fun, at first i didn’t know what to click or how to play lol. Then I realized that i needed to hold the mouse part of the computer and then throw the ball. And about the message of HIV is a good idea since there are a lot of people out there with this illness and dont know or dont want to get test it. This message can get to them to make an awareness of the importance of HIV test.

  5. I like how the developers of the game let the user figure out how to use the mouse and what not to play. They do tell you what to do after a while. The message being transmitted here is a tough, quite powerful one. I was not aware of the existence of an in-home test for HIV. Pills or any type of medication are harmful for a human in the long run. Sometimes the cure is worst than the disease itself.

  6. At first I was highly confused as to play this game. I wondered why the first scene was of someone (me) shooting a basketball. As I got the hang of the game I started to realize the basketball scene. Which was, HIV/AIDS or any time of disease, illness, or sickness can hit you on any given day, in this case Tim’s birthday. I was fairly surprised of how Tim’s mother reacted which in reality wasn’t realistic. I would expect my mother, to ask 1,000 questions while yelling and crying at the same time. Not as easy as Tim’s mother let it go. Overall, I did learn a few new things about HIV. Im glad Tim got tested and continued to live his life playing basketball!

  7. It is crazy how you might think your life is good and then last minute your past comes up. This is why i believe you never really know a person and should always get tested. My favorite part was when Tim told his family and in they end they were supportive about it. I learned that HIV is not the end of the world. Tim went back to basketball in the end and he can have kids still with no HIV, well their is a chance. That i never knew. Who knew a simple game can reach you something new.

  8. This activity may be used by others in the future by others to get educated with
HIV & Sexual transmitted diseases. It is a learning technique for many in a fun creative
way, which helps focus on the ages, which HIV is most common. This game can
influence people in more protective sex. What I would change about this game are the
    terrible graphics that they have.

  9. The game was interesting and educational. It is easy to play and it’s nice that it gives you options on how to react and what you want to say to people. I think games like these should be used in schools to teach teenagers and adults as well about HIV/AIDS and maybe other illnesses too.
