Great work. You eloquently describe how the stylistic juxtaposition of the architecture create an expectation for the experience inside. I also liked your response to the Coltrane photograph. Your use of a book as a metaphor of space is creative and compelling. Finally, your point about the connection between variety of styles of art and controversy is convincing.
