You have your event planner that is responsible for planning the event from start to finish, so they must set the date, find the locations and arrange catering and entertainment. Sometimes the event planner may find a sponsor to help pay and promote the event and in return the sponsors may want recognition at the party or on the flyers using and displaying their company logo. There are stages when it comes to planning any event the first being RESEARCH. You would want to find out the best location for the event, it can be from a hotel, a park or renting out hall and even research on the people you may be doing the event for. Second is DESIGN. You would want to have an idea on how invitation may look and have an idea of the layout you would want in the space being used. Third and final is PLANNING. You would of course need to plan your budget and now how much is being spent. Plan travel arrangement for guest and find and plan the type of entertainment needed. Skills needed to pull this all off would have to be someone who is leader, can multi-task, and has good communication skills, negotiation skills and budgeting skills
