This summer I got to visit Montego Bay Jamaica for 5 days. The sights that we got to see were amazing so come and let me give you my 36 hour recap.
10:00 am – We are checking into the beautiful Royalton Blue Waters, since we are in a special pack they take us into a office with top shelf liquor, many snacks to accommodate that as well.There keys are bracelets that when you put on the door you get to go in.
12:00 pm – We are finally settling into the rooms , we are all hungry so we go walk to the beach where they do buffet of Jamaican food and someone making fresh paella.
2pm- We want to get into the water, so we grab our swim wear and head to the beach. On the beach there are 2 tiki bars with open top shell bar so you must grab your great drink as you lay relaxing in the sun. On the beach you will get offered everything, from traveling into the city doing attractions, to braiding hair to weed. Weed is legal in Jamaica and can be smoked on resort.
8pm – We were told we should go to the lagoons. This lagoon is called the Glistening Waters Restaurant and Marina. You can only go at night time to this location to get the full experience. Once you get there they take you on the boat deep into the lagoon remember its pitch black the only light is in the water which lights up. They tell you to jump in and when you do your whole body starts to light up.
11pm- Go to the hottest night club in Montego Bay Margaritaville. Plays all type of hip hop and Jamaican music. Party goes up until 2AM.
9am- Everyone getting together to go have breakfast all buffet styles and the cooks making fresh to order omelets and pancakes with whatever you’d like on them.
11am back to the pool enjoying what else beautiful Jamaica has to offer.
1Pm- we grab a light lunch and go on a 2 hour horse back ride. The trip is amazing you see all the water you go thru little huts and see the locals. The horses are a little of a pain because if they don’t wanna listen to you they will be eating grass and you get screamed at. Then you go to a stop at a little shack to grab a drink or use the bathroom. Then they ask who wants to horseback ride in the water. Its an amazing thing to do at the end you stand on him and jump off.
6pm – Back in the resort waiting for the night entertainment to start you see dancers all around music playing kids playing its a great time in Royalton.
