PATIENT A:

36 year old male came into the clinic concerned about heavy stain. Patient admitted to chewing beetle nut since his return from deployment in Afghanistan in 2012. During his Intra-Oral exam I noticed two lesions in particular that the patient was unaware of. Referral for biopsies were given to the patient. Cessation of smoking and beetle nut habit were discussed with him as well.

Upon assessment, it was noted that the interdental papilla between #1 and #2 of this patient was strangulated. The dentist on the floor additionally suggested it was most likely due to deviation and trauma.
