I lumped designing and drafting into the same page because they are just a little more linked than the other categories of what I study here at city tech. This spring I’m enrolled in ‘Introduction to Scene Design’ as well as a course in AutoCAD called ‘Theatrical CAD.’ Both deal heavily with converting an idea, concept or even a sketch on a napkin, into accurate representations of the real life production.
