Course description:
Internship provides students with supervised work experience in the fashion industry related to their career interests. The course allows students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world professional environments while gaining hands-on industry experience. Students complete an approved internship of approximately 120β250 hours and maintain a journal documenting their workplace activities and learning experiences. Through written reflections, professional development assignments, and discussions, students analyze their internship experience, evaluate their performance, and develop career readiness skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership, and professionalism. The course also includes the development of professional materials such as a resume, cover letter, and e-portfolio to support future career opportunities in the fashion industry.
