During this week I met with the professor in order to discuss the new updates I have added to the resume, Then on the Friday of this week (10/04/24) I would attend my first networking event which would be the Kodasha open house.
This event was held in SoHo and the ones hosting was one of the World’s largest Manga Publishers in the world Kodasha, As an illustrator and aspiring Managka/Comic Writer and Illustrator getting to come to a place where some of the biggest stories to come from the east are being placed on display is a massive win and while I may not have made any real connections or built up a network of sorts the whole event was so much fun and this was the first time I had heard of something like this while New York Comic-Con was right around the corner this little pop-up would remain up until the end of October and I even bought a shirt! (It shrank in the wash unfortunately).
