The Brooklyn Salsa Company produces salsa from organic, locally sourced fresh produce in Brooklyn. Today the company is represented by more than 10 national and 3 international distributors but it was launched in Brunswick, Brooklyn in 2008 as a sauce supplier for tacos. The founders Rob Behnke, Matt Burns and Casey Gilbertson expanded their business by experimenting with different tastes and flavors on their kitchen. The most popular items are the Green, the Pure, the Tropical, the Curry, the Hot and the Mole. Only in Brooklyn these and other products are available in over a hundred locations. BK Salsa has a creative website with interesting recipes. Their website also showcases Brooklyn artists and musicians.
