Citation Formats

This evening we will cover some information about evaluating sources and doing citations, beginning with the assigned pages from Writing That Works, 180-191.

The link above is a great reference site for details on how to format papers in APA and MLA styles.  If you click on the “sample papers” you can access templates of papers in each style.  These samples are easy to follow and should be helpful if you have questions about how to format papers.  We will visit these links together and review paper formats extensively in class.

The Purdue OWL page is another great resource if you have questions about how to cite specific types of sources.
