The relationship between Kirk and Spock has been changed from a friendship to that of a homoerotic one according to some female Star Trek fans. Due to several scenes involving eye contact and gestures made between the two, as well as Spock realizing that emotions play an important part in one`s life whereas Kirk said that he understands the feeling, it has been made to seem that these two have a completely different type of relationship then what was perceived at the time. The use of the “slash” has changed the context of their relationship drastically. The “slash” has been made by fans to completely change the relationship shared between the two men.

The injustice done to female artists by not having their work put up in museums can be very unfair and unjust. Only women who pose for the paintings naked are the ones seen in museums all around the world. The Guerilla Girls worked to get their voices heard by putting on gorilla masks covering up their identity, stating that all that mattered was their bodies anyways. They fought for racial and gender equality in the art world, which is still an issue today.

Joey Skaggs created a hoax to trick/con the news media to show that they would fall for anything that can give them a good story, even if that story is ridiculously untrue. In the hoax, he claimed that there was an animal brothel which charged $50 solely for sexual gratification, etc. After he “hooked” the media with that story, he hired 25 actors and 15 dogs to make it look like “The Cathouse for Dogs” was really true. Later on, at a news conference, he admitted to fabricating the whole story claiming that he wanted the news media to see that not everything they report is true, that sometimes you have to question stuff.
