In-Class Blog

Part 1:
I believe enjoyment is truly gained from by people when they are invested in something that they are passionate about. Many people whom we come into contact with have been stripped away of their passions by daily capitalistic rituals. We quantify our enjoyment and “play time” to a set amount of hours a day.
A particular television show corrupting our minds may be considered as a form of entertainment, and therefore immediately affiliated with enjoyment. But the enjoyment which I am typing about is the enjoyment one feels in their soul from taking part in something which is greater than them.
One particular way of gaining this sort of enjoyment is to invest oneself towards activism for our society and the world we inhabit.
