Ceramics is a course where we learned the theory and techniques of the fabrication of ceramo-metal dental restorations. These restorations included PFM crowns as well as pressable all-ceramic and E.max restorations. We were taught pressing techniques, porcelain build-up, firing, contouring and finishing and polishing ceramic restorations.
