Week 13 – Quadcopter Update

We finally got the new remote controller, and we finally realized that we may have a loose connection on the quadcopter. We are still examining it and hopefully we can get it to fly by next week. We have also been playing with the accelorometer and the arduino, by taking measurements, recording numbers, and doing free fall test with someone holding a safety cable.

With the remote control, we found out that some of the pins by the antenna were not really soldered in and it was held together by double sided tape. We were able to take the tape out and re-soldered the pins. Unfortunately we were unable to get the remote controller to connect with the quadcopter.
