My name is Patricia Azcona and I was born and raised in Dominican Republic. I moved to New York in July 2010, and right after started working as a dental assistant. I was lucky to have worked with amazing doctors that inspired me in pursuing a career in the oral health field. I worked as a dental assistant for a few years and finally on August 2015 started the Dental Hygiene Program at The New York City College of Technology. It was definitely not an easy ride, but a memorable and fulfilling two years. I’ve learned and grew a lot as a person and as a professional.
