The RNBS program has validated my attitude and opinion in regards to the many career options that I have as a nurse. Additionally, professors and classmates have inspired me to pursue my education beyond the BSN. I have gain a better understanding of the issues in nursing via the text and from those with prior knowledge and experience. One issue that can be resolved and enable the nursing profession to move strongly forward is representation. More nurses need to join national and local associations; part of the membership dues are used to gain access into the political arena – lobbyist are not free or cheap. So, I would encourage more nurses to to join a nurse association.
